No, it isn't that bad. I had a stupid accident yesterday, and my left hand is in a splint. I'm typing this with my right hand, awkwardly. I have to keep the left hand elevated.
I'll announce the winners to the contest on Monday night. Hopefully, the doctor will say I can use my hand again then.
Thanks for your patience. See you Monday night.

Best wishes as you recover.
Good luck with that hand, Lesa. Very frustrating, trying to do everything with one hand.
Ouch! Hope you're better soon!
Thanks, Everyone! I really appreciate the good wishes. It's really frustrating.
Did you get overenthusiastic in rooting for the Suns last night? Whatever happened, heal fast!
I hope your hand is better very soon!
Oh, my. Take care, Lesa.
Good grief, I hope it isn't too too painful. Relax and take care of yourself.
Best wishes to you girlfriend! Take care and just take a break. Everyone will survive and you can spend some nice reading time. Thinking about you!!
Take it easy and heal quickly.
Hope the hand gets better soon! At least you weren't hurt worse though.
I didn't do blogs yesterday so I just posted about Dog on It this morning.(I too loved it)
Speedy healing wishes are being sent your way. :)
You mentioned frustration. Sometimes my frustrations remind me of my blessings. There are millions of things I have right now (the ability to walk, breathe, fight off illness, etc.) that I never think to stop and be thankful for.
We take so many things for granted.
I hope you are continuing to heal.
Sorry to read of your accident. Heal quickly! Typing with one hand when you're a touch typist is awkward and time-consuming. Turning book pages is still easy.
Get better soon! I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't use one of my hands. Hugs and good thoughts are coming your way!
Thank you! I can't tell you how nice it is to receive your notes. Joe, you're right. I should be grateful for what I do have.
Hugs, everyone. And, thank you.
(That came out hygs the first time.)
I hope your hand feels better! Typing one-handed is so frustrating!
Oh no! Get better soon!
Hi All,
This is Lesa's husband. Don't worry I'm not going to do the Blog while she is gone. She so much appreciates your thoughts & good wishes. She considers all of you her friends. You don't know how it is killing her not being able to Blog. Hopefully she says she will be back by Monday night.
In the meantime her poor husband gets to put a new splint on her finger after every shower. No, I'm not feeling sorry for myself. She really is a "Angel."
Thanks again.
Jim
Hope you're feeling better (i.e., more functional!) I posted my review of The Last Song Dogs, if you're interested:

Are you having allergies? It's horrendous in Tucson!
Hi Rhapsody,
No allergies, fortunately. Only allergic to something that blooms in northern Florida.
Lesa -- I am SO sorry! I hope that the weekend allows for a speedy recovery. Perhaps the award that I have given you today might boost your spirits? I hope so.
See, there is the advantage of only typing with two fingers. If I lost the use of one hand, I would only be down 1 finger!
Hope you are back to 100% soon!
Oh not good, I had to make do with one hand after some surgery. Makes life interesting! Feel better but don't rush it.
Hope your hand heals quickly!
Take care of yourself.....Cindi
What a bummer,Lesa! Maybe this is life's way of telling you to take a couple of days off.(-:
Get better soon.

Sorry to hear about your hand, Lesa. I hope it won't be out of commission for too long. In the meantime, take it easy, keep that hand elevated and use your extra spare time to get some extra reading in. You can then tell us all about it when you're recovered.
Thanks everyone. I've been doing a really good job of keeping it elevated. But, I've just received the nicest honor, so I'm going to have to hunt and peck a blog.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident! I hope you're feeling better.
Lesa, get well soon!
I hope the pain is not too much. (((hug)))
Love, Kathrin
