Merry Christmas, Lesa! You'll be in my thoughts today. I know this can't be an easy Christmas for you. The photos are wonderful!
Just for you, Ingrid! I knew you'd want to see the cats at Christmas.
Merry Christmas to the Holstine home. May the coming year bring wonderful times and much joy. Look the holiday kitties.

Thoughts in Progress
Thank you very much, Lesa. From my household to yours, all the best.
Merry Christmas, Mason. Thank you! The cats are such hams! I hope you have a wonderful 2011 of good health, great joy, and great books!
Thank you, Michael. I hope the rest of your holidays are filled with family, love, and good books!
Thinking of you this holiday. Cats are wonderful company and such cheap amusement. Best for a better '11!
Thank you, Janet. I really appreciate the notes from all of you saying you're thinking of me. Thank you. My Mom and I have had so much fun with the cats. In fact, I had a cat Christmas, and I'll have a couple pictures tomorrow of it.
I hope you have a wonderful 2011, Janet. I'm hoping we all have good years without a great deal of worry in our lives.
Merry Christmas to you and your sweet (and spoiled) furbabies! They are all just too cute! Please give them a gentle squeeze from me, and big hugs to you and your mom too!
Wishing you blessings and all good things for a lovely 2011.
Well, you're certainly right, Beth, that they're spoiled! And, my Mom, who I wouldn't normally call a cat person, really has enjoyed them. We've had a great time laughing at the cats.
Big hugs, Beth. Thank you. I wish you the same - all good things, including good health in 2011.
Merry Christmas Lesa! May your New Year be filled with many blessings.
Thank you, Bev. Merry Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful 2011, with good health and happiness.
Merry Christmas Lesa! I'm so glad that you're spending time with your mom and your adorable cats! They must fill your days with love and fun.
Best wishes to you and the Holstine cat family.
They could not be cuter! Thanks for sharing their photos with us.
On to a happy new year, with lots of good books, family, friends--and cat high jinx.
Bonnie,
You're right. It's been wonderful to have my mother here, and she and I have enjoyed a great deal of laughter over the cats' antics. Thank you. I hope the rest of your holiday season is beautiful.
That's cute, kathy, since the funniest cat is Jinx. He's a delight.
You're right. I hope you also have a wonderful 2011, filled with family and friends, lots of love, and lots of good books.
Have not seen Nikki's photo before that I remember, but that is one beautiful cat.
And, seeing Stormy again--who has an impressive name--reminds me of what a beautiful, regal-looking cat she is, too.
The girls are beautiful, aren't they, kathy? Nikki was Jim's cat, and she's still mourning him. Soon after Dickens' sister died, a bunch of kittens were dropped in a box on a November cold morning at our Main Library. Nikki was only 5 weeks old, and she was one of the kittens from that litter. A book lover's cat from day one.
And, Stormy knows just how beautiful she is against red, and likes to pose. I don't care what people say about cats not seeing color. She always knows red is her color.
